Ok chaps. I'm locking the thread for the moment to create a new one entitled "Personal Registration Databases" and will transfer all relevant posts to that.
EDIT:- New thread in the "Anything Else" > "Help......." subforum. I couldn't see any other appropriate place to put it.

No problem at all Keith.
I felt that the discussion could well go on and therefore would be better served by a thread in its own right.

It is the big ANG airframe changeover "out East" plus others, Jeff. I've noted 16 KC-135s (excluding the Mildenhall based) in/into/out of/over the UK today.

Still in a no plane zone here in Madeira, but did see an unidentifiable military AW101 looking for the body of a tourist washed out to sea taking photos of the waves!
Airport here closed today to inbounds, arrivals board showed a couple of TAP flights landing but FR24 showed them scuttling back to Portugal! A number of inbounds diverted to Porto Santo (PXO) a small island around 50 km north of here, but what happened to the ingoing and outgoing passengers is a mystery as there is only one ferry a day to and from Madeira and two daily flights by Jetstream 31 which appeared to be cancelled anyway!

I have been to Madeira 3 times and have yet to depart on the scheduled date due to high winds. I was lucky enough to be travelling with the wife who was out there on business so it was never a problem finding alternative accommodation. There is an excellent viewing terrace airside where excellent views can be had of aircraft trying and failing to land in the high winds.
As a side issue we spent some time on Porto Santo which is one of the best kept secrets in the vacation world, absolutely stunning island, beautiful beaches and very laid back, also has much better weather than Madeira. Pestana have a couple of fantastic hotels on the island, there are a few direct flights to Porto Santo from the UK or as Jerry says there is a ferry or Jetstream from Madeira.

DAWG flight was 4 machines and DAWG42 was the only one that didn't show a hex code. LOL

At last, I've finally seen the elusive Atlas ZM416 over Chippenham this evening. Just like last week it had been poodling about over the Marlborough Downs doing it's thing for well over an hour but visibility was much better today. All 18 Atlas delivered so far have been noted over Chippenham.
