Time for them to come back. They will coincide with flights of "LN" F-15Es from 494FS going out to take over from them.
Provisional arrival times (credit SMAS mailing list):-
"Tabor11-16" 7th ETA 1430z....ie 15.30BST "Tabor21-26" 8th ETA 1430z....ie 15.30BST "Tabor31-36" 9th ETA 1430z....ie 15.30BST
The morning of each day will see a flight of 6x "LN" going out, with the corresponding flight of 6x "SJ"s arriving later (as above).
Each flight will probably (not confirmed) stop 2 nights before setting off for Seymour Johnson AFB, NC.
A reminder of what is out there:- 86-0187/SJ y 87-0176/SJ y 87-0177/SJ y 87-0181/SJ y 88-1668/SJ y 88-1669/SJ y 88-1671/SJ y 88-1675/SJ y 88-1682/SJ y 88-1687/SJ y 88-1688/SJ y 88-1706/SJ y 89-0474/SJ y 89-0488/SJ y .........marked "336FS" 89-0492/SJ y .........marked "4OG" 89-0495/SJ y 89-0501/SJ y 89-0505/SJ y

If everything goes to plan, the best way of seeing them all in one visit would be to go up on Monday 9th.
1.) Get there in time to see the departing "LN"s - may well depart as early as 09.30BST onwards.
2.) See the 1st lot of 6 "SJ"s depart (the Saturday arrivals) - might be lunchtime.
3.) Do the very long walk down "the field" to see the Sunday "SJ" arrivals - likely to be on "Alpha" or "Bravo" ramps.
4.) Wait for the 3rd lot of "SJ"s to arrive.
Obviously, depending on the "SJ" departure time - I will post NOTAM times anyway - do the field first to see all 12.

From the description posted on FC, these would appear to be parked on "Charlie" - the visitors ramp. So, it is only a short walk down "the field".
******* There appears to be a 24 hour slip to Monday for the next batch of arrivals *******

Hi phil2,
Taking your questions in order:-
1.) No further updates as yet - that I know of. 2.) In theory arrivals should now be on Monday and Tuesday 3.) Again, in theory, The 1st lot should go out tomorrow. No NOTAM has been published as yet........watch this space. 4.) Both C-17s are supposed to be night-stopping. Both out at the moment, but scheduled to return later.
Cheers,

Helped me as well Bob, many thanks! Hoping to catch something tomorrow. At least you shouldn't have to walk the field to get them, Ollie!!
Don't forget, LN departure Eastwards is likely to be around 10.00BST - assuming there isn't another delay.
Oh yes, the Oregon is still hangared - as far as I am aware.
Not sure about the Saudis, may still be on Charlie with Green engine covers....sorry, you will have to walk the field for those, but not very far.
