Yes, a difficult day with no trails and severe haze. But managed my 400th 787 frame with B-2728 Hainan on the HU421/2, think it was a first visit.

The exciting forecast of 0% cloud cover in my area for Wednesday proved to be very much incorrect, in fact it was 100% up until midday.

Brightened up late on but was tied up, so not much to show for it, but glad to have finally caught up with the Pilatus which I've often heard OTT but not seen.

A weekend of losing football (Saturday play off disappointment down at Wembley, then my son's team losing a semi final on Sunday), some torrential rain, and Bank Holiday furniture shopping, meant few spotting opportunities, just a few put on late on Monday: N270UP McDonnel Douglas MD-11F, UPS OE-IZG Airbus A320 – 214, EasyJet Europe (frame ex Air Berlin) EI-GSA Boeing 737 – 8AS, Ryanair F-HTVJ Boeing 737 – 8K2, Transavia France

After looking at wall to wall cloud for nearly three days it was nice to see something late yesterday afternoon:
EC-MYC A320 Vueling (inbound BHX)
Knowing our luck first game of the season will see the Royals away at Aston Villa and so the season will start off well NOT!

Nothing to worry about there David, we've shot our bolt chasing promotion with an ageing team and loanees. Would have been slaughtered if we'd gone up but atm I can't see what kind of team we will have next season never mind another promotion push. Time to rebuild, again! How's Bacuna doing, he was unfairly treated by sections of our fans.
Spotting wise, May is going out with a whimper, but no complaints with the month overall.

F-GTAY Airbus A321 – 212, Air France At least you saw something, yesterday was back to normal and this morning it's quite foggy as well. With regards to Bacuna,I thought he did alright when played in his right position but Stam kept playing him at right back where he looked a little lost, although he didn't help himself or the team when he needlessly got himself sent off " Fulham and so missed 3 of the last 4 games.

Some unexpected blue skies showed up this afternoon but i was unable to take advantage, a quick run by BHX saved the day.
