After days of solid clag, finally seen some blue sky, containing ZM418 at 30,000 ft overhead Biggin Hill. That droning sound is just so distinctive!

An absolutely dreadful month, awful spotting weather conditions for most of it, but spent much of the days attending hospital and then my Mom's house following her release into palliative care, with her passing away on 25th.
Tends to put things in perspective so I won't moan too much about the measly haul.
Thurs 7th (at BHX)
EC-MRL Gulfstream G550, Gestair Private Jets
Fri 8th
F-GSTA Airbus A300B4 – 608ST Beluga, Airbus Transport International
Tues 12th
G-NEOW Airbus A321 – 251NX, British Airways
Weds 13th
G-SATM Diamond AD-42M Twin Star, Skyborne Aviation Ltd
Sat 23rd (at BHX)
M-SPEK Beechcraft B300 KingAir 350i, Specsavers Aviation Ltd
Sun 24th (at BHX)
N782SP Douglas DC-8-72CF, Samaritan's Purse (arrived from Iraq) G-TUIO Boeing 787 – 9 Dreamliner, TUI Airways
That DC8 makes up for a lot spotting wise, been many a year since seeing one of those.

Morning Deke, I'm so sorry, I must've somehow missed your post about your Mum. I lost my Mum in January after a short illness, it's still raw now and this Christmas is going to be a big hurdle to overcome. Sending best wishes to you and your family and as the other lads have said, at least your dear Mum is in a better place and free of pain.

Due to work commitments etc- have decided with great regret to stop collecting aircraft registrations both Mil and Biz Jets- instead will in the future when I get the opportunity to attend the odd air show concentrate on photographs of aircraft. Will however continue to be a member of LAAS, and obviously this group and the excellent FAB group. Regards AM Back spotting again- but just Airliners, Biz and Mil- not small stuff and rotary. Hopefully some shows to visit in the near future if this virus does not cancel everything. Stay safe everyone and wash your hands. AM

Must admit my ‘spotting’ did interfere with my career - I never stopped spotting but I just wasn’t able to do as much!! Now I’m retired the only thing that holds me back is the sodding weather, that’ll catch up with you sometime in the future. Good luck mate. Bill
