On the 27th, I had a few calls in the Wimborne area after which I had a call in Shaftesbury so took the back road which goes right past Compton Abbas. It must be five years since my last visit and I only need one of the 40 or so based there but G-FOOJ was buzzing around and although not a based machine, did go into the book

Thought I'd missed the KC10 due to her flight being scrubbed a few days ago and then when she did make it across the pond, the weather was dreadful. But she ( and an accompanying KC135) sailed past the house yesterday in blue skies which was well received as she is one of seven active KC10s I need

Hi Graham - some 10 miles up the road from you and the KC10 & KC135 passed almost directly overhead but I couldn't see a bloody thing - I suppose the clag has to end somewhere!

Just 51 frames and 5 scrapes in January, all from home bar a single trip to Biggin Hill. March is looking better with 10 on the first day in between rain and clouds.

Similarly, a pretty poor month with the following going in the book. Nearly all from home, a brief call into Staverton yielded 4, Compton Abbas added a single frame, and a few LHR inbounds whilst working in Reading early in the month
