A brief break in the cloud mid-afternoon allowed me to make gap-filler EI-FIM and BD300 N739E heding E at FL410 trailing. Another break around 18.00 provided F-HBLD EMB.190 and F-GZHG 738 but not needed. Back to 100% cloud cover, looks like that is it for today.

Early morning flight to Edinburgh meant a overnight stay at the Thistle Hotel Heathrow, not a bad evening spotting from the bar 'hic' as this lot went in to the book

Hi Guys,
Well it's certainly a better day today... Albeit a little hazy... In my log today are;
TC-JJV B777 Turkish OTT going east at 12.08 TC-JYJ B787 Turkish OTT out of MAN (I think) going east at 12.09 D-AJAN CL605 ex FAB at 12.30 EI-CSG B737 Travel Service into LGW at 13.30 (pretty sure I saw this as a Ryanair) 164106 KC-130 US Navy OTT at 13.35 descending towards Brize (I think) EC-MHS A321 Vueling into LGW at 14.00
So that's it for the time being...
Cheers.
Bill
EDIT...

D-AEAL A300F DHL OTT 15.30 LN-LNG B787 NAX ex LGW 15.35 G-EZOU A320 Easyjet to LGW 16.18 N150QS Global 6000 ex FAB 16.31 N987AR MD-11F Centurion OTT 16.48 G-OGGM SR22 o/f 16.50

Despite clear skies only one so far today, but a really good one for me, N987AR MD11F of Centurian, one of only 10 of the 200 MD11 frames I had not seen before (and 3 of these have crashed so are no-hopers). First time I have seen a Centurian in UK airspace, hope for more as I still need 4 of them! First MD11 frame for over two years (last was N618FE)

A very good day today, not because of lots of pots or anything especially exotic but did FINALLY see Ryanair EI-EPE which came right over the house at high level heading east from Dublin and means that I now just need EI-FIT to clear the current fleet.
Others today were T7-DFX FA50 ZH880 C-130 OE-LIR Do328
and saving the best till last, PP-INC E35L heading west and trailing

Graham, you have overtaken me on Ryanair as I need FIR as well as FIT!
Just one yesterday, HZ-AK26 773 on LHR departure. Still need AK28 as well as HZ-AKR/W 772s. Mainly cloudy this morning with showers, nothing of interest so far.

Made one of my occasional visits to FAB at lunchtime today and made just 4, B-8122 and G-NOYA G.550s, M-WODE Gulf 450 and M-OIWA BD.300. Called in at Fairoaks on the way home and was pleased to see D-EDXC C.172, but looked it up and found I saw it at Egelsbach in 1996!

One to look out for into SOU OK-SYN E35L 1110/ ABP811. Haven't had much to post about lately, other than the LAA Rally at Sywell which was a major success with 4 hours of walking. Left books over at Grandad's, and typically haven't been there for a fortnight.
