A quick stop at Luton in the way "up north." Nothing exciting but probably made half a dozen or so.
Merry Xmas all

Just returned home from 3 days near Oxford. Dull weather throughout with spells of drizzle. Did not bother visiting Kidlington as it was disappointing this time last year. Just one, a brief break in the cloud Christmas Eve produced N128GV Gulf 550 outbound STN.
Total for the year 959 frames, tomorrow forecast clear but definitely won't make 1,000, worst year for several. Would post my year if it was interesting, but it wasn't!

A decent day yesterday, five in the book and narrowly missed Air Berlin DHC8 D-ABQD which looked like she was westbound to Shannon but it was dark by the time she went across here.

Two more bringing the total to 6:
EI-FMR B767 Meridiana (Verona-Havana) PZ-TCR A340 Surinam (Paramaribo-Amsterdam)
I've just noticed on FR 24 that an Egyptair B737 that I need (SU-GCR) is operating MS761 from Luxor and is south of Biggin Hill so hopefully this will be number 7.

Was busy in the study most of the day (I am treasurer of the company that looks after the estate where I live, had to print, envelope and address 161 service charge invoices) but still managed to make 3, EC-MJC A320 Vuelling inbound LHR, PZ-TCR A340 Suriname (I understand PZ-TCP which used to be a regular is now languishing in the desert somewhere) and CS-GLF a newish NetJets GLEX. Missed a couple of A330s out of LHR, OH-LTN Finnair and 9K-APE Kuwait plus numerous OTT some of which have been mentioned by other contributors.

Morning all, another tale of woe from the Madjeski yesterday, we were third in the table a few weeks ago and now we're languishing at 12th a good 10 points adrift of the play off zone.
As far as planes are concerned, made four yesterday, including two Ezys in ten minutes to my south..

Nice overflight shots Graham.
Clear blue skies now, so just made G-VZIG Virgin B787 over my house at FL100.
After a slow start with 787s- I'm up to 84 now. Still not a huge amount, but more respectable! Need to go to Heathrow more often!
Also made C-FIVW B.777 at FL90.
EDIT- proper count = 94 B.787s!

Yes I still need at least 4 BA and 4 Virgin 787s. So plenty to catch up on at Heathrow!

Just a few 787s ahead of you zz, with 187, made one this morning, N45956 on the UA46 IAH-FRA. Ah, but I do have the advantage that I can see LHR 09 approaches and some 27 departures from home! Also made newish 738 7T-VKL on LHR departure a few minutes ago.

Yes that's a fair few ahead of me! Seen nearly all of mine in 2014 and 2015- only 2 of them are overflights (even they are fairly low level over my house into Heathrow.) 187 eh?! In that case I definitely need to spend more time at Heathrow!! Hopefully Fri 8th Jan for a few hours.

Hi Telford
Firstly, nice photos! Secondly, thanks for the list. You and Jerry have inspired me to get to Heathrow in some spare time in January. I only live 40miles away- I used to visit regularly but never seem to find the time these days!
Thirdly- thanks again to your list, it reminded to check my B- and JY- logs for 787s, and made me realise I've seen another ten that I'd missed in my count! So up to a slightly more respectable 94 without leaving the house!
Cheers
