That's a real shame Bob,I've just checked the local forecast and although not brilliant it's looking better than they originally thought.I'm going to miss Pidley but should be at Aero Expo again not certain at this stage if I'm there for all three days or just the Sunday as I have a chance of flying in.

Fair enough Bob,I would have loved to have gone to Pidley but I'm flying off to South Africa next weekend so that's put the mockers on that event.I'm just waiting for my mate who flies Cessna 150 G-ATEF out of Blackbushe to confirm that he is taking me to Aero Expo on the Sunday otherwise I will be there for all three days,I'll let you know the outcome.

Tim Jackson is working in the P&M stall, be sure to go in there as there's a new model in there called the HypeR. Hoping a few more arrive in the next few hours or arrive early morning...

Not sure mate. Looks sunny tomorrow (for Basingstoke, iPhone's crap weather app wouldn't accept Popham or Micheldever!), so shall definitely be up. Hopefully a good turnout! Remember to look out for a small boy in a red hoodie, lol.

Tried to think of something slightly distinctive I can wear-
Settled on dark blue hat, with Quiksilver written in white. Unless i get hot or wet in which case it will come off!
Grey hoodie- unless I get cold in which case it will be covered over.
Blue jeans and trainers- they will stay on!
Doesn't help much, but I'll look out for you all'!

Cracking start to the day, clear blues skies and four in the pot already including EI-FRJ
I've decided against the dress and slingbacks ZZ and will be sporting a black leather bomber jacket, blue jeans and a large camera bag

We have our grandson for the weekend as we have been in the states and haven't seen him for a while. We had planned to take the motorhome down for the weekend but the forecast put us off as we weren't sure that we could entertain a little one for a weekend in a small space like the van. I will be at Pidley however, that I couldn't miss.

Like wise Les, lovely to meet you and Sue. We had a good turnout from AFA - Jeff, Bill, Viv, ZZ, Dave Allum, Jaybee, Bobbystreet, Dylan, Kev, Slideman and Jargon. Sincerest apologies to any members I've missed out.

I can only endorse what everyone has already said,a great day out and really nice to meet up with some of the regulars again and two new members for me,Dylan (and his Grandad) and Jargon and after talking to Bill it seems that I missed zz by a couple of minutes.Haven't checked my log yet but did write down over 200 visitors.
Will be popping along today for a few hours before the forecast rain arrives.

Popham at 11.15am had about a dozen visitors so we left. I have treated my wife to Sunday lunch at Lasham. The food was good. Les

Morning Les, well, after totting everything up and checking my logs from yesterday, I'm rather pleased (embarrassed?) to say I made 170 at Popham and then six of the nine Tiger Moths I saw in formation on the way home, thanks to Jargon for the link to the tie up for those. I also took over 300 photos so I certainly won't be uploading all of those, but just a small selection once I've sorted them all out.
If the decent weather holds, looks like the good lady and I might go to Popham tomorrow to see the vintage cars.

Left Popham at 13.00 today. Maybe 25-30 visitors and needed 6. Just arrived at Lasham.

Didn't bother doing Popham today as we didn't think much would attend due to the weather forecast - which was clearly a load of bull - so we did Goodwood, Parham Park and Shoreham. Reckon I made 15 or so, so not a bad weekend with 85 or there abouts in the book!
