Hi Jerry, there's a direct link to the Fighter Control Group on our navvy bar here. It's a top notch forum for all things military.

Made TF-ISS and D-AIGX a couple of days ago, however was busy with the family yesterday. An all white underneath Islander went over Portchester crematorium at 11:30 (yesterday, 07/02), hopefully it was the new one due to go to Germany however I doubt anybody else saw it. Presumably from Lee on Solent, however nothing appears on Terry's excellent log.

Can't match Bill, but at least made 3 newish heavy frames, 9K-AOE 773 Kuwait and C-FRSA 789 Air Canada on LHR departure and A6-BLJ 789 Etihad heading for MAN. A bonus was F-GZHA 738 Transavia France inbound LTN. Saw a Chinook heading E past Weybridge at 16.20, but the live-military-mode website was down at the time so could not identify it. Any ideas? This do for you, Jerry??

Bob, have been to the FC website, but could not find the forum where this was posted. Obviously a useful tool even for those of us not on a regular military airway. Do I need to register to access movements information?

Yes, Jerry, you do have to register in order to access the two "Heads Up, Movements and OTT" sections (one each for UK and non-UK) and also the RCH section.
Once you have registered, there is a requirement that you contribute just 5 posts in the rest of the forum before you are allowed to access the "Worldwide Milair Monitoring" sub-forum - which is where the aforementioned sections are located. There is no requirement to post again after you have reached that minimum. Guest (i.e. unregistered) visitors can still access an absolute wealth of information - even without the "juicy" sections.
Obviously, this is a different approach to AFA's modus operandi, but I personally have no difficulty with it. Graham thinks differently and he and I effectively agreed to differ in FC's discussion thread on the subject. Obviously, I will leave you to make up your own mind as to whether this will deter you from registering.

Unremitting low cloud means I have not seen a plane, let alone made one, for several days. LHR on 09 most of the time so have missed several needed frames including C-FRSE 789 Air Canada, D-AEWS/U A320 Eurowings, ET-ATY A350 Ethiopian, F-HRBA 789 Air France, LN-RGO A320neo SAS, HZ-AK40 773 Saudia.
Off to GranCanaria on Wednesday for a family holiday. Our room should have a view of the Las Palmas approach if they are arriving from the south (they usually are) and there is free wifi so I will be making reports! Hope to clear the Binter and CanaryFly fleets, and see my first Mauretanian registered airliner (there are services by E145, 735 and 738) plus Moroccan ATR72s.

Still clear blue sky with trails, but very hazy, cannot make out LHR 09 approaches so have already missed LN-RGO A320neo, ET-ATY A350 and (very annoying) VQ-BVP 738 Aeroflot, probably first visit.
Not much of interest OTT, EC-LXA A330 Air Europa out of Cambridge a scrape and the mysterious F-HLRX routing Birmingham-Clermont Ferrand, think it was a Falcon but no hits on Google etc.

You may have seen on the news the 100 year old in the 2 seater Spitfire out of Biggin Hill. It was flying circuits around Biggin accompanied by Zenith's Lear Jet G-ZNTH. I was playing golf on a nearby course and the views of the formation were superb. I hope someone got some ground to air shots of these.

It turned out to be a military day, with Voyager ZZ338 heading East, and Chinook ZA682 chattering overhead this evening, but the highlight was Norwegian C130J 6501 creating a weird trail at FL230 as it headed North East, and presumably homewards.

Grateful for small mercies yesterday - Wildcat ZZ514 from Brize Norton to Yeovilton.
The clouds decided they would restrict me to one RCH pot today - "RCH655" KC-135R 58-0051 which was my last Tinker AFB-based one.
Saw several other RCHs today, but not "RCH152" C-17A 96-0006.

The clouds did their best today to frustrate, so I missed a few of the football special to MAN, but once again, quality of those seen made up for the quantity missed. The day started at 08.45 with the Mexican Navy Gulfstream XC-LMF, then half an hour later Air Baltic Dash8 YL-BBT. KC135s 58-0058 and 58-0051 were needed but 63-8012 was not. P8 168859 finished the military, whilst new Kuwait 9K-AOF and Delta N830NW were the best of the civvies. Spotting then ceased when I had to go and pick up a poorly granddaughter from the nursery, but lots of cuddles made it a good afternoon.
