The promised sunshine hasn't turned up in South Staffs yet so it's as you were. Got a quiet house today, and was looking forward to some garden spotting but not to be.
Sister in Law's 50th later, beach party, 100 miles from nearest coast! Optimistic I'd say, and I hope they like my beached whale impression.
An RAF Chinook has rattled over low this morning so getting me off the mark for the month.

Made 27 today! Glorious sunshine all day, and many trails. I can't recall when I last made 3 EasyJet on the same day, EZRG, EZRJ, UZHA. C17 08-8196 and A7-ADI, the last of the 9 Qatar A320s, were the best of the rest.

Spent the weekend with friends in Lytham St Annes, no local spotting but made TC-SEO 738 inbound DUB and W3644 (BAPC323) Spitfire replica in a local park!
Called briefly at LTN on the way up on Thursday and back on Sunday, made 14 biz on Thursday and 9 on Sunday plus HA-LXE 321 Wizz with a few more to be tied up.
Got back 17.30 Sunday and managed to put 5 more in the book, A7-ADC/ADG/LAA BA Qataris, ET-AUB 350 Ethiopian and D-CXDN 25 inbound LTN. Just one today, 9H-JAI 340 on BA duty, but have missed needed LHR departures N826AN 789 American, N2140U 773 United and A7-APH 380 Qatar.
(edit) One more, 10-0223 C17 heading ENE on an usually southerly route, trailing at FL330. Missed 07-7169 same routing earlier.

I'm no expert about photography Dave, but I think your photos are great.
Raced into double figures very quickly today but from mid afternoon it's been a bit of a struggle to see aircraft due to the hazy sunshine, managed to see a few airliners but biz and GA no chance, however this is what I managed to log today, shouldn't get anymore as a darts competition beckons:

EDIT:
Did make one more as Bell 429 M-YMCM flew over as I hit the submit button.

My desktop with all my aviation spreadsheets is currently in intensive care (I have memory stick back-ups should it be necessary to switch off the life support) but I still have Wifi on the I-pad so can access FR24 etc.
Haze and lack of trails meant only 2 for me today, A7-APH 380 Qatar and F-HFSD my first F.8X inbound Northolt.
