Only my second visit in passing to this lovely, active airfield, and at half an hour, a quick one at that. Long enough to enjoy an excellent cup of coffee (properly made) and breakfast cob of veggie sausages, mushroom and tomatoes. The cafe is very impressive, and welcoming, with a menu that includes not only vegetarian but vegan options, and home made gluten free cakes (good news for those who need these things).
I only spotted what I could make out from the car park and viewing area, and these were those which I had not seen before. Where I got really lucky was not only to see the Jet Provost but to watch it fire up and take off in the short time I was there, excellent!
