Heathrow on Westerlies and 27L. Cold and misty start that took most of the day to completely clear which meant it was pot luck if you could get a good view of anything landing but on balance I got fairly lucky. There were 2 First Visits today plus a great selection of Freighters. Also new BA 777-300 G-STBO arrived early morning on its delivery flight but the mist was so thick that the picture I got was not worth posting - one for another day. The ATC B747 is very tasty. Nice to see one of these ER- Jumbos in a half decent scheme.
Denis.

Hi Denis, Thanks - Yes I was pleased with outcome of ER-JAI. It was a great colour scheme, on the right runway, at the right time and the sun was shining as well. There have been quite a few of these ER- Aerotranscargo 747's of late but they tend to come in between 06:00-07:00 when its dark (and I am also probably asleep ). I am hoping to catch ER-BAJ, the yellow one, in the future if all the "ducks" line up again - time will tell. Heathrow is certainly interesting at the moment in its new cargo hub role.
