Double up on this one Italian Air force Packet and French Air Force Noratlas Those were the days when you went to Biggin and got around all the hangars. Happy Days Bob Hope this doesn't sound too biase but the Noratles looks a beast whereas the Packet just looks beautiful and fit for purpose.... Fantastic shots Bob... And memory provoking too.... I remember going in the 70's, as you say you could get round the hangars. On my way to and around them I will always remember the signs on the grass BEWARE OF ADDERS...I don't know if they were for real, but it sure tested my intention of reaching the hangars...

Andrew - I think I must have been stalking Bobby at the 1968 Air Fair as I have almost identical shots of the Noratlas & the C119. The Norrie was No 20 code BH of GE312 and was the support aircraft for the PdeF.
