Be a bit careful using that list Carmedic, as its rather old and there have been a number of re-codings of Typhoons since then. From a very quick look I can see a number that are out of date.

LOL Bob, sounds like we've both been doing a load of catching up. I had old logs from the States ( B727s, DC8s, DC9s, B707s, YS-11s, early 737s, Electras, CV-990s, etc, etc) which had no c/n's so have been using the www.aerobernie.dplaced.net website to fill in 100s of gaps which is very satisfying. Also made me realise that I had seen the very first B727 off the line, United's N7001U c/n 18293

Very good one for military hex decoding is Live Military Mode-S - sometimes referred to as Albert's website.
On the front page click on "Public Pages" button which will give a large choice of options.
Also useful on this website is a list of military aircraft over the UK according to their SBS upload times. On the LH side, click on "Europa", then "UK", then "Current". You have to be a registered member to access anywhere else.

Yes, this is good. Not really into military, but tried it and easily tied up a Chinook which went by heading east a few minutes ago (19.15).
