Presume that was late-ish this afternoon. Did you see the other one with it (ZZ388)? No, just braved the cold long enough to catch sight of the first one. Pity!

Well I got to Hurn in time to see the E-190 but I should have checked first as I had seen this frame in Perth last November, still I did do a quick run round before my meeting as I needed one of the stored A340's

Well my final A400 - of those delivered so far flew OTT my house this afternoon (I missed it) and spent a good 2 hours doing circuits over the Marlborough Downs between Devizes and Pewsey - no idea what it was up to? Bob? Anyhow it was flying so low that I couldn't see it from mine and I was tempted to jump in the car and drive 10 miles east but it started snowing so bugger it - there will be another day. Heyho!

Another two for me today:-
"RCH537" Westover-based 337ARS/AFRC C-5M 87-0039 plus, an hour later, {no callsign} Apache ZJ195 did 3 low level circuits over my house before disappearing off towards the NNE.

No idea, Keith. Just doing "its thing", I suppose. Was on a "COMET" callsign, so QinetiQ crew (with that callsign, I believe) doing some sort of test presumably.
Only made it myself 12 days ago!!

About the only advantage of this freezing weather is that the skies around here have been pretty clear for the past few days, meaning I have made a few.

Have been here in Madeira a week now, and have seen one plane since leaving the airport-at least it was a frame, CS-TRG DHC8 of Air Azores.
Weather here is atrocious and the island is more or less cut off - only one plane has landed all day, about 50 guests due to leave the hotel today are here for at least one more night and another 20 due to arrive are stuck somewhere in the UK. No guarantee that the Beast from the East will allow tomorrow’s LGW flight to depart, let alone arrive here. Sightseeing out of the question, have only ventured out of the hotel today to take photos of the impressive waves!
Can only get better (I hope!)

Morning Guys,
Well I finished off February with 113 Frames and 54 Scrapes. This now gives me 327 Frames and 126 Scrapes year-to-date...
I’m not even going to do the comparison with last year’s results simply because I’d had a week of spotting in Las Vegas, and I don’t want to depress myself...
But 327/126 ain’t too bad, I think....
Looking forward, we’ve got Toulouse next month, then Fairford, Farnborough, Yeovilton and hopefully first visits to Shawbury and Valley, then the big ones; Oshkosh and China!!
Praying for some blue skies to get March off the ground...
Cheers Fellas.
Bill

Ok gents, I need a little clarification. What is the difference between a Scrape and a Frame? Chris 🙂

I believe a scrape is an aircraft that you've seen before, under a different registration.
