Not the usual AFA fodder but for anyone interested in watching Mr Musk launch his old cherry-red Tesla roadster into orbit on Space X in approx 90 minutes time - you can watch it live at the following link: www.spacex.com/webcast

PS: A quote from the BBC website - it's powered by 27 Merlin engines!!
"The 27 Merlin engines at the base of the rocket should be capable of generating almost 23,000 kilonewtons of thrust - slightly more than double that of the world's current most powerful rocket, the Delta IV Heavy, which is operated by US competitor United Launch Alliance."

Err well Jeff - unless I'm watching fake news - I would say that was a successful launch. The return of 2 rockets looked like something out of Thunderbirds - still not totally convinced by it as it all looked too smooth - the wonders of modern technology??? As for the 3rd rocket that was landing at sea the live feed that I had was cut - I can just imagine the captain of the barge saying port a bit no starboard 90 - oh bugger watch the bridge!
