Called in during a quick around here, FAB and Fairoaks on a dank and murky last day of "British Winter Time" (or GMT as it is more usually called). Nothing much happening during the time I was there (c1120-1220). Only thing moving was a Phoenix doing what looked like training, at least only air taxi-ing along the runway. Only a solitary Blink on the apron (and not one I need) and very few possible visitors. The only things I made were G-CETD Piper PA-28 Cherokee 161 Warrior III G-OAVA Robinson R22 Beta II G-WFWS Robinson R22 Beta N147LD Cirrus SR22 G2 N799DS Diamond Aircraft DA40 The only other thing of slight note was the float equipped C182 (G-ESSL) which has acquired a new paint job since I last saw it at the 2016 Air Day and is now sporting a rather striking Eagle along its fuselage. I'll try and post about Farnborough if/when I can sort out some id's from very dodgy, murky photos. Fairoaks was almost a total bust - not worth a separate post The only movement I saw between c1530 and c1630 was based Robin G-GDER arriving home; fortunately it was something that had evaded me on previous trips there so at least it was something ticked off.
