Hi Guys,
Well we found the airfield okay, but the vantage points were a little harder to find. Apart from the car park by the main entrance I also went past the car park and then threaddled my way to the end of the runway 26, and the last place was across the golf course where you can get partial views across to one of the aprons... There may well be others but I was able to get as much as was out of the hangars... Here’s my log:
Friday 13 April
F) ZM326 T.6 Texan RAF ZK011/B Hawk T2 RAF F) ZK014/E Hawk T2 RAF F) ZK017/H Hawk T2 RAF ZK020/K Hawk T2 RAF (100 anniversary scheme) ZK021/L Hawk T2 RAF F) ZK023/N Hawk T2 RAF ZK027/R Hawk T2 RAF ZK032/W Hawk T2 RAF ZK037/AB Hawk T2 RAF
Sadly the gate Hunter is away being refurb’d...
So only 4 pots....
Bill

Technically, the Texan is still civilian registered as G-CKGW.
Its last three "326" on the tail were present when it was delivered to Valley as N2770B.
