It wasn't that easy to see when it went over Western Melksham. Firstly, it came out of the sun glare, then there was a load of fluffy white clouds and, when it did appear, it was a bit haze obscured.
I can understand Graham not being able to see it from Devizes.

It was certainly easier to see from where I was looking - south towards Melksham (with the sun to my right and slightly behind)though the cloud was a bit milky in places. I heard it coming from as far away as Trowbridge
