A cracking month all round with predominently good weather throughout. Nine potted yesterday, the best of which was easily LAN Chile B789 CC-BGB which passed to my south en route to MAD

Not a bad start to the month with LHR visitors SP-LVC 738MAX LOT, EI-FPP CRJ.900 SAS (my third in a week) and A40-SF 789 Oman Air plus OTT N784QS BD.350.
But a couple of disappointments this evening, gap-filler A6-EUM A380 was on the EK31/32 but I was out when it landed and on departure it was too low to pass through my limited window of opportunity on 09 departure, and CC-BGL 789 Latam Chile went overhead on LA705 routing FRA-MAD but was above the cloud.

Morning B W, I saw the P-51 on the VR as was the Sea Fury G-RNHF but neither was close enough to Devizes to see.

LHR frustratingly still on 09s, but made the gap filler A6-EUM on departure, and caught the Chilean CC-BGL trailing nicely overhead.

5 today, LHR visitor A40-SD 789 Oman Air (both daily flights appear to be 789s now), EI-GJX 738 Ryanair inbound STN (this is based at Alicante, just need GSC now), XA-ADH my last Aeromexico 789 AM3 heading for CDG, HB-JCN CS.300 Swiss DUB-GVA, plus LX-JNC CL.604 inbound STN. Quite a contrast today, made the Vietnam this morning before going down to Farnborough for the Pegasus tour making five at Blackbushe on the way. The only other one needed into LHR all day was A6-EUC which turned in between Maidenhead and Slough so I missed it! VN-A871 787

Unfortunately, I had to go out for some of today, so I missed the French AF C-130J and The Bahrein Amiri RJ85. However I did manage to make "AUH03" the Abu Dhabi Amiri B772 A6-ALN to make up for it.

Heat haze and limited trails made spotting difficult, but made 2 frames, A40-SC 789 Oman on the morning WY104 departure (my third this week) and VP-CAD A319BJ inbound STN. The SAS CRJ900 on SK4627/8 was EI-FPH again, didn’t need it yesterday or today, disappointing as I only have 7 out of about 28.

Although the weather was stonking, only made three yesterday, the best of which was GLF5 B-8131 which came over me heading east, presumably inbound FAB or LTN.
The others were
F-GSCR - C525 G-OCJZ - C525
I did nip into Old Sarum as I had a couple of work calls in Salisbury but there was very little happening. Shadow hangar was closed up, the main hangar was open but there were just 4-5 residents in there, plus a few regulars dotted around the field.

Most frustrating as my last Dover-based C-5M 85-0003 went MAM > GITUS (just N of Lands End) behind the cloud. At least it was visible up in Norfolk where someone I know made it to clear all the C-5s (A's and M's).
