Hi privatepile
According to other boards, 4K-AZ100 is supposed to be destined for Farnborough arriving at 11.00, it is currently at 09.13 just east of Bucharest Roumania.
A mention is also made of 4K-AZ101 but date/times unspecified

No you were right - 23 blue Here is dave’s Post andpic Just a few from yesterday's very hot arrival day. The Lithuanian MIL8 was using the Mode S supposedly allocated to 21 White which was at Fairford a few years ago. It was however painted as 23 blue. 21 white is the sole Lithuanian MI8MTV1 and was painted as such under the cockpit at Fairford. 23 is a MIL8T and the helo carrying 23 that arrived at Yeovilton was indeed marked as a MIL8T. 23 was in store at Siaulai when last noted some 5 years ago. Has it been resurrected but with the Mode S box from 21?? Anyone there today that can get a c/n from it? Sorry for any confusion I caused with the Mil8, I had read Daves thread on Yeovilton's arrivals thread. It was 23 Blue
By pure chance I just spotted it on ADSB when it was at Hook and put it on as it was quickly , so people in Farnborough could may be catch it. If I had reread Daves thread and then posted, it may have been too late to have been any good.
It appeared to be staying north of the M3 but then dropped in altitude per adsb and turned towards Woking, and I was lucky enough to see it as well.
Jeff/Bill
Do we know if the flightpath for landings from the east is changing arrivals week???
LX-DIO took a very wide sweep in earlier, the A9C? TAG just before the IL76 was extremely tight, and some aircraft I've seen afterwards also seem to be turning short on to finals

The having taken a somewhat odd low level flightpath the IL76 came directly overhead of me in Worplesdon before turning onto finals.
Cracking shot Jeff

At some point- probably by now- they switch off the ILS for the show period and it becomes a visual runway. This means aircraft making visual approaches rather than being vectored for the ILS which may explain why you’re seeing different approach paths. If the weather precludes visual approaches, then the aircraft have to be vectored for Surveillance Radar Approaches which will look just like an ILS to an observer.
Runway 06 can be a pain in the airshow- single engine jet aircraft aren’t (or certainly weren’t) allowed to use Runway 06. That meant types such as Hawks, even the Red Arrows having to use the “out of use” runway.

Great shots Jeff and PP although with the heat haze on such a hot day, one could be forgiven for thinking it was an optical Ilyushin.
