Has clouded over now, but previously managed to make three fairly recent deliveries, 789s PH-BHP KL705 AMS-GIG and HZ-AR22 SV124 MAN-JED plus G-JZBO 738 Jet2 LS198 IBZ-LBA. Also made M-BHBH Gulf 650 inbound LTN or STN.
Another frame was 06-6154 C-17A taking the direct easterly route across southern England. Also noted were 01-1096 C-17A and 85-0006 C-5, but unfortunately they were heading west and took the more northerly route well out of range from here.

The B-1B was on exercise (Ample Strike) at Fairford this time last year. Typical though, it is the first one I have seen flying!! Didn't need the others - got the C-32B a fortnight ago.

Was poised with the camera as the AN-225 departed BZZ, all looked good, heading straight for Devizes then she swung to port and went across Avebury. Bummer.

Loads and loads at Sywell today.
Thats the most GA I have seen in one place since Oshkosh a few years ago. Obviously not the same scale. But pretty impressive all the same.

Its not the 5 Scrapes or the 2 Vampires that overflew my house while i was taking my daughter on a driving lesson which my wife was quick to point out how good they looked this afternoon while heading to Hurn.
No its the fact that i do not get to much USAF over Titichfield so this morning when i spotted on my SBS and the 360 site that there was two yes two KC135 heading my way 20 minutes apart i thought my luck was in, until the time come and yes the cloud hit so i could hear them but not see them= gutted.

Trev The two New Hampshire ANG ones "RCH538" 58-0023 followed by "RCH225" 57-1419 - which is the oldest KC-135 still flying. Both were at FL380, not trailing and, if it is any consolation, they were very difficult to see apparently.
They had been doing their two-week "ESSO" TDY at Geilenkirchen, which is for refuelling the NATO E-3s.

Spent the last couple of weeks of August in the Spanish sun. Staying near Estepona, we had a balcony which was great for evening and night time spotting but any other time of day strong sun and haze and very few trails limited opportunities, and of course family time, sightseeing etc, so can't complain at what was managed over a few cold beers and ADS-B. A steady stream of Royal Air Maroc flights boosted the numbers, an airline I rarely get to see from home base. I also noted down a few on my phone on arrival at Malaga, and then frustratingly somehow managed to delete the file, oh well.
