My dear lady friend had expressed a wish to visit Finland, so seeing as Finnair operated an A 350 from LHR and I had not travelled on one off we flew on 19/08.
Being a pauper could only afford economy class, which for the price paid was very good.Found the cabin a bit bland, a kind of light grey, seat was comfortable with a 31 inch pitch.
Best thing for me was the camera showing an over fuselage view and a view underneath the aircraft.
Take off was VERY quiet, I kind of wished for the old DC-8/63 series I had travelled on to Canada many years ago, VERY noisy.
Summing up the flight was like Finland, very efficient, clean, but the cabin crew just did enough to keep everyone happy, you just felt that was there job, end of.
Will do another short thread on Helsinki airport later, however this was not a spotting holiday.

The A350 is very quiet. On a trip to Australia we had the same seats in the A350 leg to Hong Kong as we did in the A330 to Sydney, and the A350 was much quieter.
