Flew out of here on weds 19/09, found it to be a very easy airport to get around.
A café in terminal 2 was recommended, Mahoe, but this was closed until midday, but peering through the blinds, there would be good views from inside.
We caught the very frequent transfer bus to terminal 4 for check in on our Latam flight.Where the bus drops you off at the far end of the terminal building you have a view of about 10 Iberia A 320 size aircraft.
Our flight was leaving from terminal 4S which involves a train journey to this satellite.Looking around for food came upon Burger King, plus a view of a couple of Iberia A340 s.
Our gate was S4 which gave some good views of some taxying aircraft, highlights for me were 3 South American aircraft, CC-BDD, Latam 787 which we flew on to Frankfurt,
Bolivian 767 CP-3017 and Avianca 787 N781 AV.
Very impressed with Latam and the 787, spot on time departure and probably the most pleasant cabin crew I have encountered for a long time, which contrasted greatly with the mainly disinterested cEasyjet cabin crew on our flight to Madrid.

Glad you enjoyed Madrid, I also departed your terminal to LHR in an Iberian A340 and you get good views of some of the action here.

Yes, we both enjoyed Madrid.I found the actual airport to be very modern and pleasant.Only sorry I did not get to the mound, but never mind. Thanks for your previous help.

If you like photography, the mound is great.
