Morning Fellas,
Apologies for my recent absence but have been touring China for the past couple of weeks. Although not a spotting trip I'm afraid the temptation to 'see a few' was far to great for me not to have a go... This was my second visit to China - first being just a skip across the border down near Hong Kong about 4 years ago, but this was the big one that the 'Misses' had on her bucket list... We went with a British tour operator (Great Rail Journey's) who I would thoroughly recommend and the 'tour' was to take us to; Beijing, Shanghai, Three Gorges cruise along the Yangtze River, then Chengdu (for the Panda's) and Xian (for the Terra Cotta army).... All domestic travel was via High Speed Train (which was utterly impressive) and the international flights were with Finnair LHR/HEL - A350 HEL/PEK - A350 and Xian/HEL - A330 and HEL/LHR - A321. They were very impressive and much to our delight, we got upgraded to Business Class all the way home!!! Anyway, the trip was outstanding, apart from the food - which for 14 days was 3 square meals a day Chinese food - which I generally love, but three a day does get slightly repetitive... So, to the planes at the museum. As I have said before, I'm not a great photographer so if you see some glaring mistakes - please forgive me...
I'll start with a few good old British types...

Amazing place- great pics.
Nearly 20 years since I visited- do they still have the row of dozens of “MiGs” in the tunnel?

I have some further shots from another camera but am having some trouble downloading onto PC/Flickr.... Also, just referring back to a comment made by ZZ, the museum is a former active base - not sure if it is unique, but the base operated with an underground, or to be more precise an under-mountain hangar which, on the day of my visit was closed!!! This, I am lead to believe houses another 50-70 frames which were all out of sight mainly from satellites... Quite ingenious. Hope you enjoy seeing the photo's as much as I did taking them - apologies for some of the quality... Cheers lads. Bill

Bill
I can confirm from Google Earth that the first field in your photos is Nan Yuan. There is a 2016 report of the stored aircraft there (including 11 TU-154s!) at globalspotting.wixsite.com and they are unlikely to have changed much since.
There is reportedly a military field at Liangxiangzhen, SW of Beijing, I found the place on Google Earth but could not see the field!
(Edit) Have now traced Liangxiangzhen field on Google Earth, and can confirm it is the second field in your photos.
