Yesterday morning a USAF C17 was seen to be tracking on my SBS (not sure if it tracked on FR24), I have noticed a couple in the past but its not a regular thing. The KC10 seem to have already been fitted I do see KC10s regularly tracking on my screen Talking to a friend (effects) from here is seems that by 2020 all aircraft flying in European airspace with need to be ads-b equiped, wether this means they will all track only time will tell but it does look good. For Europe. www.eurocontrol.int/spi-irUSA www.faa.gov/news/updates/?newsId=90008&omniRss=news_updatesAoc&cid=101_N_U

There are quite a few C-17s that now transmit on full ADS-B, thus no longer requiring MLAT'ing to plot. They have been doing it for some time now - obviously as they got the equipment upgrade during depot maintenance.
I believe that a few KC-135s are now also the same. Most welcome.
Some B-52s are now starting to show up on ADSBX - test/training missions only unfortunately!!!
This is actually an ICAO requirement, so the situation is to become worldwide. Also worth noting is the requirement to show the correct hex code for the airframe - which (hopefully) will solve the problem of one hex code being used by mere than one aircraft (e.g. this morning's AE119C is used by both the C-17s 03-3119 and 03-3126), and get rid of the "lazy" hex codes.
Also, the USA have notified ICAO that they will not be able to meet the deadline - sheer volume of aircraft, lack of funding, etc. - but will as soon as they can.

Thanks Bob, hopefully that will help with ID-ing the F-15s that regularly buzz our little part of Wiltshire.

Thanks Bob, hopefully that will help with ID-ing the F-15s that regularly buzz our little part of Wiltshire. We still need the receivers in this area that will upload to the various tracking sites. LOL.
