According to details of a press briefing to be held on 26th, the exercise is for one day only - the 27th.
The "HL" F-35s therefore have nothing to do with it. Latest on them (not confirmed) is that they were due this coming Saturday (24th), but have moved to sometime next week.

Just beat me, Mark.
They were "FAF7720" flight.
Support was by "CTM2052" Transall R217/64-GQ - which was the support aircraft for the Caracals at Mildenhall in April 2017.

Wednesday 28th November 2018
Three of the four Rafales departed for home at 08.35z, leaving 116/30-IU in isolated splendour on "Charlie" ramp for about 45min before it was towed off to a hangar. It finally made its escape at 19.10z.
Support today was "CTM2083" Transall R218/64-GQ - which is still in Lakenheath. . . . . . . So now the attention turns to the F-35As.......Well. we are all waiting with baited breath for the Eastbound Shanwick NOTAM to appear. It all depends on the weather, sea state, etc.

At this stage, I think that it is safe to say that they are not coming.
In view of POTUS's September comment about 5th Generation fighters coming to Europe "very soon", I think that someone made 2 + 2 = 35 (instead of 22 - the "FF Raptors)
