I need 9943 British regd aircraft, but that includes airliners, biz, preserved aircraft in museums, some of them overseas. That from my own G-DASH database that I update monthly.

Just had a look on PB, as far as active G- are concerned, I've seen 6,980 out of 18,093 so a miserable 38% with 11,113 still required.
As far as inactives are concerned, I've seen just 3,653 out of 21,752, an even more miserable 16%

I've just found out that a visit to that museum in Southampton is in order for Skeeter G-APOI as it's not the same frame as XL770 that I have seen. Then the Middle Wallop one for EP9 G-APXW. But I'll have to wait until these places start admitting visitors again.

Both those Skeeters are in the museum Phil, or they were when I last visited in late 2016

I ordered my 2021 Civil Aircraft Markings and Military Aircraft Markings from Amazon as I got some Amazon gift cards off friends and family for my birthday- ordered on Thursday and it arrived yesterday which I was happy about - until I saw the 2021 CAM- looked like someone had tried to have it for his or her dinner- pages ripped and dirty- so it is going back. However the Military Aircraft Markings was great- so I kept that. Hopefully the replacement CAM will be in better condition when it arrives. Happy Days Bob

Just gone through my got's and needed:- according to my current LAAS 2021 BICR there are 20,058 aircraft on the UK register and I need 8,776 (That includes Airliners etc) quite a lot of those needed being gliders and balloons. My worst section for needed aircraft is the G-C's where I need 2,951 and they are mainly gliders. So I think a few Gliding comps and Balloon Festivals etc will be called for when this virus eventually gets sorted. Happy Days Bob
