I am treasurer of the management company which runs the estate where I live, so I was kept busy today delivering, posting or e-mailing 161 invoices for 2019 service charges. However I noted fron FR24 that today’s QF9/10 was VH-ZNH 789 so I broke off from financial duties to spot it on departure. Didn’t need A6-BLK (but still need 6 of their 22 789s).
EI-SII 320N SAS is taxiing out as I type this, hope to see it on departure but 09 departures are dodgy from the study window!
(Edit) Just managed to see it as it turned north.

Thank Bob, for loading this section. I tried but couldn't, for the life of me, remember how to do it!!! So cheers mate.
Now closed my book on 2018, and it started all over again earlier today. So today’s little bit of blue sky brought me the following.
SE-RTC B737MAX NAX. OTT 11.33 heading to Las Palmas, got to Channel Islands, then did a 180o, and diverted into LGW. It carried on about 2 hours later. N338MM Gulf 4 was heading towards STN/LTN direction at 11.38. ET-AVK B737MAX Ethiopian, OTT 11.54 between Dublin-Addis Ababa.
So two ‘MAX’s’ on January 1st is well pleasing - sadly I didn’t make it a hat-trick with the RAM MAX into LHR later - it had clouded over by then!!!
Still, were off for another year of spotting....
Happy New Year, boys.
Bill

Always good to get off the mark on January 1st but just the one:
SE-RTC B737-8MAX Norwegian
After that the cloud rolled in and Reading were hammered 4-1 at home by Swansea, still I've never been to Accrington.

Just back from an 8 hour round trip to catch up with the more recent arrivals at Kemble, then White Waltham, Blackbushe and Farnborough. Best movement I saw was the Chipmunk wearing WD292 taking off at White Waltham. Brought back memories of 6AEF and all those experience flights from there in the early 1970s.

Well, the good lady and I spent four nights down in a very unseasonably dry, warm and sunny Dorset from the 29th until the 2nd and the clear skies down there got me off to a flying start to 2019 with 9 frames in the book.

Yesterday my road trip to Kemble, White Waltham, Blackbushe and Farnborough yielded 53, and today on approach to LHR just below the clouds, El Al 787 4X-EDC, Emirates new A380 A6-EVF, and the predicted Maroc B787 CN-RAM.

Finally off the mark this morning with "RCH198" C-17A 90-0535 - but I had to stay up to some ungodly hour of the night to see it!!
That is the trouble with noticing them departing Eastern USA and not needing too many. LOL
EDIT:- Add a large stroke of luck in that (the no longer broken) "RCH612" C-5M 86-0012 departed Mildenhall and actually routed my way!!
