Evening all On Friday 4/1/19 I was lucky enough to be granted access to this turbo Dak to get a few shots after dark. The crew were busy preparing the aircraft for the next leg of its journey which was due to start the following morning so these were taken as quickly as possible to lessen my 'getting in their way' so to speak. Many thanks to them and to A.W and P.A for enabling this shoot to go ahead at very short notice (it was all requested and arranged that afternoon) IMG_2309 by MSPhotography, on Flickr IMG_2306 by MSPhotography, on Flickr IMG_2303 by MSPhotography, on Flickr IMG_2307 by MSPhotography, on Flickr IMG_2313 by MSPhotography, on Flickr Cheers Mark

Fantastic shots Mark.
Any idea where it’s gone?
Love the ‘Dak’ and can’t wait for this summers ‘invasion’ for the D-Day celebrations...
Thanks for posting mate.

Thanks Bill, it went to Split from here but I don't know the final stop on the trip. Looking forward to Duxford too, it's shaping up nicely Cheers Mark

I did not think the Conroy Guppy (CL-44) was still about. Can remember it when it flew for Aer Turas in the 70's and then Heavy Lift

Yes it's still very much surviving at the moment. Keep hearing the pie in the sky claims that it'll be flying again soon but I think it's exactly that! Cheers Mark
