Knowing that one of the very few KC-10As that I need was to be at the 'Hall for a week, I decided that a "chasing visit" up here was necessary. It would also give me a chance to see the one new CV-22B that I need.
Had a very good run up and we are staying in the Travelodge at Fiveways roundabout as usual. The roundabout has changed by the addition of traffic lights into and on it at the two A11 entry points plus the A1101 from Mildenhall town only.

The elusive Dynamic AvLease Beech 200 N45N remained shut up in its hangar. So, made the two that I was hoping to make and it is now down to whatever goodies turn up before we return home on Friday - probably an AC-130U (90-0167 - which I don't need) that is currently at Keflavik.
I can always hope for the needed E-3G (80-0137) that went into Dover AFB, DE just after midnight (our time). EDIT:- Went OTT to Spangdahlem AB, Germany
Fingers crossed.

VR showed a V-22 heading east across north Wilts yesterday afternoon Bob. I didn't watch long enough to see where it went. 05-0028.

Hi Graham,
ADS-B is showing incorrectly as to the serial. It was, in fact, 10-0052 - the new one.
It went to Boscombe Down.

Today was a total and utter waste of space.. No visiting aircraft movements whatsoever at either of the bases.
Even a visit to Cambridge found everything shut up tight and only the two stored/derelict SwedAF C-130s (84001 and 84003) were outside.
Still, I made the two that I went up for, plus a couple of bonuses - so can't be bad.
Quite a good trip home despite a lot of extra traffic on the A428 West of Cambridge, due to a lorry fire shutting the A14 North of Cambridge.
