Beautiful looking aircraft. Only ever got one flight in one from Orly to Toulouse in 1988. The first United Caravelle is preserved in the Pima Museum at Tucson. This was taken in 1990 but was looking a bit tatty when I was last there 3 years ago. Another ex United machine ex N1003U is preserved at the Bradley museum in Connecticut where I graphed her (now as N902MW) in 2004. Graphed sister ship N901MW at the museum in Columbus, Ohio in 1989. She was originally to have become N2001U for United but the order was cancelled and she was delivered to Brazil instead. 90-uq by dave tompkins, on Flickr 04-vp by dave tompkins, on Flickr 89-ms by dave tompkins, on Flickr Below are just a few of the others which I have taken over the years. 70-ai by dave tompkins, on Flickr Trans Europa at Gatwick in 1970 70-ai by dave tompkins, on Flickr HB-ICQ also at Gatwick in 1985 85-fb by dave tompkins, on Flickr LTU at Tel Aviv in 1978 78-ad by dave tompkins, on Flickr Aerocesar at Bogota in 1982 ac 711 by dave tompkins, on Flickr Luxair at Luxembourg in 1972 72-ai by dave tompkins, on Flickr The Saeta store at Quito in 1982 82-46 by dave tompkins, on Flickr F-GATP of Minerve at Toulouse in 1983 83-ob by dave tompkins, on Flickr F-GCVM lokking a bit forlorn at Bordeaux in 2010 bears 092 by dave tompkins, on Flickr A pair of Sterlings, OY-STI at Copenhagen in 1987 and STD at Frankfurt in 1983 87-bw by dave tompkins, on Flickr 83-db by dave tompkins, on Flickr And Air France on Heathrow finals in 1980 ac 036 by dave tompkins, on Flickr
