RAF Marham
54 mins ·
The Tornado FINale flypasts will be taking place next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, weather and aircraft serviceability dependent. Please take a moment to look at the following maps to find out where you might be able to catch a glimpse of her to say your own Farewell. An idea of timings will be published later.
We would love to see your photos of her as she passes by. On the day of each flypast we will start a post that you can add your photographs to, so make sure you have your cameras ready.

I have no doubt that NOTAMs will be published for these in due course which should include the times at each point.
To check for these, take the following steps:-
1.) Go to www.notams.faa.gov/dinsQueryWeb/ and click on the "I agree" button,
2.) In the Top LH box, type in EGTT and click the "View NOTAMs" button underneath. For any members in Scotland, use EGPX instead of EGTT.
3.) Scroll down the resultant page until you reach the Hxxxx/19 series where the relevant NOTAMs will be located.
I will look myself and post if anyone hasn't already done so.
Cheers,
Bob

Please note that these flypasts will be conducted by a 3-ship formation - the retirement special schemes (if I have interpreted Marham's Twitter page correctly). These are:-
ZD716/DH.....31 Sqdn "Goldstar" retirement scheme ZG771...........retro camouflage retirement scheme ZG775/AF......9 Sqdn "Bat" retirement scheme
There is a 9-ship flypast planned for the finale on 28th February at Marham.
Cheers,
Bob

Wednesday's flypast consisted of:-
"TORNADO1-3" ZD716/DH............."Goldstar" 31 Sqdn special ZD744/092 ZA587/055
Airspare was:-
"TORNADO4" ZA601/066
Apparently, the retro camo (ZG752) and the "Bat" 9 Sqdn (ZG775) specials are the only two u/s aircraft of all the 15 flyable Tornados left at Marham......typical!!

Thursday's Scottish run provided all three special schemes. Four Tornados actually took part, with the 3 specials doing the formation and the fourth off to one side.
Apparently, at Lossiemouth, a second fly-by was performed by the 9 Sqdn special in formation with two Typhoons already painted in 9 Sqdn colours.
No NOTAMs were issued for this.
