Lakenheath 16/04/2019
I made a quick visit to see the MO and a few SJ F.15s today. Thanks as ever to Bob for his help with visitors at the bases.

13 based F.15s departed in 10 minutes between 12.00 and 12.10, but unfortunately they were using RW06 and so couldn’t be read off as they went screaming past me in the viewing area at the opposite end!
Made 8 MO, all 4 SJ and 0 LN !

Mildenhall 16/04/2019
Bob had told me what visitors were in and where to find them, so that meant only a quick visit was needed!
73-1580 /DM EC.130H 58-0104 KC.135 Illinois ANG 59-1472 KC.135 314ARS Beale 79-1948 KC.10 84-0189 KC.10 0052 CV.22
Bob also told me my last based 135 is away so that saved me from reading them off! However, made my last based Osprey plus the Beale 135 and 91948 KC.10 listed.

How many LNs are you down to now, Phil?
Also, like me you don't need the EC-130H. Did you first see it when it was a straight C-130H with 314TAW?

Still 4 ! No new LN today! The two 00-3... seen today are the only ones of that batch that I’ve seen before. (Including -3004 that I made last month)

I first saw 73-1580 as an EC.130H at RIAT in 1998.

Thanks very much Bob- sadly none of the Eagles are needed but your efforts are much appreciated! Also it’s better to know that they were “old” ones rather than wonder whether I needed them or not!
Typical about the 135 but like the Eagles- more for next time!
Many thanks again Phil
