Hi all
Really could do with some help as i am going mad!
My old laptop died which i have run my SBS on for 10 years.
Now trying to set up SBS on new computer which is running fine, but the issue is the sqb file with all my data on it. I have copied it over to the same place as before but its not being read!
As it has 10 years of input were i only put the registration in on aircraft i have seen it so bloody frustrating.
if anybody out there can help a 60 year non tech cheesed off plane spotter you would make my wife's day

Hi Trevor Is the new computer windows 10, and are you sure your logging seen aircraft on the SQB file? Or is your database adding seen to you SQB file when you log it?
I feel your pain by the way 😕

Windows 10 has something called hidden files, and there bloody good at hiding!!!, basestation sbs etc stuff is held in there. I managed to get my sbs1 installed a couple of years ago but have no idea how I did it. I've yet to find the hidden files to put flags siloettes and hi res coastlines in 🙄
Hate Windows 10 ðŸ˜

Mine went into a folder I created on the windows 10 C drive..
C:\Kinetic\BaseStation\Outlines
Everything from my old Vista lappy was dropped straight in and pointed basestation to that location.

I guess that you already have the outline files etc and the sbs has no probs, mine are in 1 place for ease of find the buggers. My sbs runs ok and ADL is also poined at those folders.. as ever copy everything before you move - no folders with the same name etc, rename when moved. copy and paste or drag and drop..
