I went to Duxford yesterday to see the Dakotas but I stayed in a nearby campsite the night before to save having to get up too early. From there I could see most of the Luton arrivals and some of the Stansted traffic. Here I made the following. 3/6 HA-LVA A321N G-OCAK GLOBAL HA-LXQ A321 G-MRLX GULF 5 G-MGPS AW169 G-WUKL A321 D-EDFO CESSNA 172 G-FXPR RAYTHEON 400 G-LGNG SAAB 340 G-SMHA FALCON 7X HA-LXL A321 I made a few more before we went to Duxford 4/6 HA-LVB A321N HA-LXA A321 D-AIXM A350 4X-CLL IAI GALAXY TC-SEY 737 HA-LTA A321 I will list the Daks first, not all of which I needed, and then I will add other stuff I needed. hi, we must of been walking around together on Monday as some of my photo's are same as yours... 2 questions if you don't mind, do you know the id's of the 6 light a/c over the far side near the M11?... from photo's I think three from the M11 are G-OVPM, G-ILUA covered. G-GBHB, then 2 and 1 a little way on with a blue cover. Lastly a un-id Spitfire by ARC with a "P" under its nose...
anyway great set of photo's and a great day, regards, dave...

Dave Not sure if this will help but I went to Duxford on the Sunday. I have posted a request for my unknowns on the light a/c on far side of the field on another thread. Those I have identified from partials and photo's taken on the day are: G-OVPM, G-BRPK, G-BOHO, G-GBHB, G-AYHA, G-GUAR (that is possibly your group of 3). There was something covered (blue cover, red spinner tail-on when looking across the field) I haven't id'ed (need to check your 'ILUA) and also another blue/white aircraft with a blue cover nose on I am trying to find. Of course things might have moved between our visits but maybe a "starter for 10" for a photo search for you I am also looking for a confirmation of the Fokker Triplane in the 'conversation area' on the RHS as you entered the AirSpace hall. I think iit might have been G-DREI but I am not sure.
Update: Just checked my photo's / log ... order above slightly wrong ... 'BRPK and 'BOHO were before 'OVPM (ie closer to the M11). 'ILUA was one of my unknowns and was between 'OVPM and 'GBHB (Thanks Dave). So my only unknown now is the blue/white under blue cover that was off on it's own.

hi, thanks ce, i'm pretty sure of the first 3, OVPM, ILUA, and GBHB, the forth had a blue cover(eng+c/pit), then a pa28 type?, then another further over with blue cover eng + cover, must brush up on my light I/d... The only Fokker DR1 I've seen was quoted as G-FOKK, a replica but exhibited with original engine might even be M. von R's in front... this was in Hangar 2N, I did go into the Air Space but that area on the right had stalls in.
its all fun the aftermath, regards, dave...

Dave, You're The Man!!!
Just done a quick search for photo's of G-FOKK and Flickr throws up several with the most recent being tagged as being at Duxford on Sunday 2 June. Another two from May also show it at Duxford in what looks like the area I saw it. That's good enough for me to claim it as 'made'.
I guess they moved it after I saw it and set up the stalls. It was the only thing in that area at the time and the area was closed to the public. I only noticed it because some members of staff were coming out of the room and I spotted it through the open door otherwise I would have missed it.
Thanks again CE

Definitely FOKK. I got all the Spits by ARC but I would have to go back through my camera again. I’m off to Portugal at 03.00 so I’ll have to look later
