Well I say log, struggled to see anything here. There was a Virgin airbus (not needed) opposite the terminal. Earlier I saw a C-17 go in around 17:30 to 18:00 ish but it either overshot, left or I couldn’t see it in the drizzle at 20:30. Surprise (for me) was both Cornwall air ambulance MD900s (CNWL CIOS) in a nicely lit hanger with big windows on SW side not far from the plastic Spitfire. Easily read from the road. That was a result.

better luck this morning (12/7). You can park for free for 30 mins either side of the terminal and a short walk to the left onto the long stay yielding G-GAOH Robin G-BHZH C152 G-TEFC PA-28 N18916 SR N141KJ SR N199ZZ SR
on the far side was a Virgin 340, I can read the name off my photo if anyone interested. You can see the VC-10 and 1-11 from here too.
Alas the SAR hanger was shut meaning MCGZ remains elusive for me. I read Y off at Lands End earlier this week. I did see Z turning final from the Eden project yesterday but too far away to read off.
At Spitfire corner a Canberra front fuselage is behind the hedge next to the plastic Spitfire.
Both MD900s remained hanger as per last night.
If anyone is down here I would fully recommend the Falcon Inn in St.Mawgan. A challenge to park but the food and service were excellent!

Hi Bob
I asked to be shown around the Air Ambulance hangar a couple of years ago and was granted access. Intersting to learn of the Canberra section at Spitfire corner, I shall have to park in the layby there and take a peek next time I'm working down there.

It’s to the right of the Spitfire between the house and fence backing onto the lay-by. Easily seen but easily missed if you drive by from air ambulance direction.

Additions noted early Saturday 13/7 so I suspect arrived the day before
CS-CHH challenger (parked by VS Airbus) G-JDPB Piper with covers on.
Coastguard hanger half open but the S-92 (with tractor attached) not readable as doors not quite open enough. “GY” was flying later according to Planefinder. Air ambulance hanger all shut up and no lights on so I didn’t stop to ask for a photo.

Update on the Canberra nose (via FC)
It is in fact the nose from B.2 WD954 from before it was converted to a T.4 to go to Australia (with a new nose).
WT525 was a T.22 and had the pointy nose. It is thought to be in one of the HAS used by Newquay College.
