I'm thinking of taking a road trip to Waddington next week - no day planned as yet. I'm wondering if anyone in my neck of the woods (Chippenham, Wiltshire) might be interested in joining me ( a token gesture for petrol only)?
I have it in mind to stop at Barkston, Cranwell and CONZ as well.
I'd also appreciate any advice you guys might have about the best time to be at Waddo to catch the majority of aircraft on the ground? I'll play it by ear but if there's an hour or two left in the afternoon, then I was thinking Newark Air Museum.
Cheers Keith

Hi Keith,
Would have loved to have gone, but I am "tied" to the house next week.
Bear in mind that exercise flying will be as follows for all three weeks:-
Monday - 09:30 to 14:00 Tuesday - None Wednesday - 09:30 to 14:00 Thursday - None Friday - 09:00 to 13:00
However, on the non-flying days and sometimes in the afternoons, some ad hoc sorties usually take place.
Have fun, mate.
Bob

There's a very dodgy place in Melksham to get "tied", but at least you're tied to the house!!
As always, very many thanks for the flying times. Much appreciated.
Regards Keith

Hi Keith, I too would loved to have taken you up on your kind offer but am back to work next week after a fortnight off looking after one of our spaniels who has had a cruciate ligament op.
