Popped in here on the way back from the balloons @ Longleat (log to follow) and it saddens me to see how this place has changed, the two large hangars were devoid of aircraft and the Shadow hangar had 5 aircraft in it and as the doors were wide open it was easy to identify it's contents. The parachute centre was very busy as was the cafe with the queue going outside the building.
Aircraft on field:
G-MISK Robinson R.44 Astro G-TDYN Dynamiv WT.9 G-ANNG DH82A Tiger Moth G-NPPL Comco-Ikarus C42 FB100 G-BUJE Cessna 177B Cardinal G-DBIN Medway SLA80 Executive G-DFDO Eurostar EV97SL G-CCZL Comco-Ikarus C42 FB80 G-AJJU Luscombe 8E G-OCDO Guimbal Cabri G2 G-OIVN Liberty XL2 G-EFCM PA-28 Cherokee 180 G-CDOK Comco-Ikarus C42 FB100 G-OJMP Cessna 208B Caravan G-ZENY Zenair CH601HD Zodiac G-EECC Dynamic WT.9 F-JXLT Pipestrelle Sinus 912 (67-BGL under wing)
Contents of Shadow hangar:
G-SAAA Flight Design CTSW G-SGNT Townsend Skylark G-WHOG Streak Shadow G-AKXP Auster 5D (painted as NJ633) G-MTXR Shadow

It is a real shame Dave, if you go back a couple of years, the large hangar would be stuffed full of GA, all the Flying Club C-42s would be parked outside and the Shadow hangar similarly rammed. Then there would often be a further 12-15 parked up on the field and 2 or 3 parked behind the hedge on the adjacent industrial estate.
