Just came across this on the web Anyone fancy a trip from the original BEA Air Station in Kensington High Street via the 1st BEA Air Terminal and the 2nd Air Terminal to Heath Row Aerodrome in late November? Using our restored MLL738 4RF4 we propose to pick up at about 10:00 from Kensington Air Station then pick up at the BEA Air Terminal sit on York Road Waterloo, then travel along what we "think" was the line of route via Lambeth Bridge, Hyde Park Corner, Knightsbridge, West London Air Terminal Gloucester Road (now Sainsbury's), Hammersmith Road, Hammersmith Broadway, King Street and the A4 from Chiswick to Heathrow. Photographic opportunities may be limited at Heathrow due to security reasons and parking restrictions. Return to London will be via the M4 and A4 to Waterloo. Tickets will be on a first-come, first served basis at £20 per ticket. Sunday 24th November 2019. email vintagebushire@byeways.co for bookings and payment details.

Not updated recently but Ian's Bus Stop is always a good read www.countrybus.org/rf/RF6.htmMLL740 lives on loan fully restored at the London Transport Museum at Brooklands and was outside for their Transportfest on Sunday 20/10/19 in a Blue/White/Grey scheme (according to Ian's it was the Tangerine coloured coach in the 1970's) MLL738 arrived for the Transportfest on Sunday 20/10/19 in a Grey/White scheme and I think per the program (which I got on the way out) was also giving rides for £5.00 a seat Regards John
