Definitely catch of the year for me. I think it's about 9 years since I last saw a DC-8. Samaritan's Purse DC-8-72CF departing Birmingham yesterday after overnighting en-route from Aqaba to Greensboro, North Carolina. That’s a beaut, Denis.
My last DC-8 was in China, Beijing Museum, which will sadly never feel the wind under her wings again...
Fantastic example mate. Miss of the year, for me...

Nice picture- certainly a rarity a DC8 on these shores I previously saw her as 46013/F-RAFG and N721X in my reg collecting days. Cannot remember the last DC8 I saw- a few definitely during trips to the States, but maybe LN-PIP at Copenhagen a few years back. But the latter did not look as good as your catch having I believe been stored at Kastrup for a number of years.
