Afternoon Chaps.
Was at NHT this afternoon, along with Mark (bizfreeq). From the end of the runway (near the petrol station) only three Chinook’s were visible, the rest were all hidden. So decided to wait for the 15.20 lift... Thank the lord they got airborne at approx 14.50, 3 x Chinook’s, both VH-60’s and the single Police escort (G-MPSB). It was bloody freezing... The 4th Chinook was visible with engines running...
Apologies, can’t confirm which of the Chinook’s took part... Hopefully somebody got the serials, they took off right above us...

Look out for some more heavy lift on Thursday Dec 5th, the Chinooks are likely to depart early doors too.
