Three and a half weeks in Florida

I booked this holiday to take my grandson to Disney but after booking the flights, his mother changed her mind about him going so that left my wife and daughter with me. Then my mate suggested going to the Super Bowl again so I booked my flight out on the Wednesday before and also flights to and from Fort Lauderdale only for my mate to cancel just before I left because of work commitments. Finally, my daughter pulled out the week before after two car bills totalling over £3000. So I booked two extra nights at Orlando with the intention of spotting until Kay arrived on Saturday afternoon. The third week was always planned as a trip to Key West for Kay and I. I’m only logging those that I needed.

On arrival, after nearly two hours in immigration, I went to get a spotting pass so that I could use the 9th floor of the parking garage during my stay. With just over an hour of light left, I made my way up there before catching my hotel shuttle.

Hi Keith,it's YV-2088,it's been there on my last three visits to the states.

Quite a saga Keith & nice log, not been to FLL for some time. So far as I know Conviasa only had 4 CRJ700s, all now withdrawn & stored at FLL. The 3 you noted plus YV-2088 which has been noted stored there with the others. It was allocated N274ZA but I've not seen that it has actually been carried on the aircraft. The others were also allocated N numbers after withdrawal but again not seemingly carried. Look forward to the next instalment.
