Very scary indeed Jeff. I've been watching quite a bit on YouTube about the impact this virus might have on the airline business in general - I'll try to find some of them again and post any links on this thread later. What does come across in the various videos is that many 767's, 340's, 380's and other older legacy jets may never return to service. There is also the issue of long term storage - which, certainly in the case of military jets, can cause untold damage and/or very expensive repair bills.

Very sad about Easy Jet but it's a global issue and I guess it will be the survival of the fittest (financially I suppose). My guess is the Chinese Government will bail out their airlines unlike other countries. The Chinese have a lot to answer for!!
