Yes- also interestingly PH-RVS P68 came over from Holland this morning did low a number of level circuits over SW London Wimbledon and has now set off back to where it came from
Would be interested to know what that was about? Not your typical Mid level surveying operation mind you under elements of heathrow flight path

There has been a lot of this in recent weeks. Not just here in the UK but also mainland Europe. I did see LX-FPP, which is now over Kent, as is a PC12, Further west is an RVL Be200 in the Basingstoke area going as far south as the Isle of Wight. Operating in the Cambridge area is old Farnborough resident G-BWLF. There have also been quite a few Ravenair P68s about recently.

Yes I understand the surveying but the P68 came from Holland to do it - HB-FOZ PC12 has come from Berne Switzerland - I think we have quite a varied resource of UK based machines for surveying so why the need to get aircraft to travel from Europe - anyway a welcome relief to have something to look out for - especially on a day like today.

LX-FPP has come through my South Staffs patch a few times now but sighting has been elusive, hopefully it will show itself before it heads home.
Ravenair's Partenavia fleet has been very active hereabouts recently, none I haven't seen before but since leisure flying stopped these are about the only low flying craft to be seen here at the moment, apart from Police and Ambulance choppers.

Led to believe that a number of Europe based internet mapping companies are using reduced traffic flows and clearer air to update map site data. They probably / hopefully will never get a chance like this again. You might well see yourselves watching them from your gardens when new maps are uploaded...👍

Indeed Steve, after seeing LX-FPP tantalisingly close on VR for the past few days, she finally sailed across Devizes yesterday
