A busy few days for Southampton Docks with the trucked arrival on Saturday 29th May of B733 fuselage 5N-MJA (Basic Arik Air cs) from Norwich. The early morning arrival caused a traffic hold up when negotiating local junctions and made the local news ((Daily Echo website still has viewer video) and;
Two further fuselages of B733s. N733UK (grey / red wavy cheat line) and N475EL (all white with ‘EVRAMP’ stencilled on each side in place of its regn) were trucked in from Bournemouth yesterday 03 June. Their preparation for haulage was featured in GJD Services social media FB page with a few photos.
All are destined for sea shipment to China as training aids. Now deep within the Docks.
The GJD page suggested “two” further 737 fuselages being prepared for China, although it is not known which ones. Maybe our BOH contacts can assist?
