Thanks Jeff, a good bit of nostalgia quite apart from the aircraft. The kids playing on the Britannia and Dove prompted me to dig out the following which I've taken of similar use of disused aircraft being used as playthings - anyone got any more? What a lovely piece of nostalgia Jeff, a great find. Forty three years ago, where has the time gone? The roller coaster reminded me of the old "Wild Mouse" roller coaster that used to stand in the amusement park alongside Radipole lake in Weymouth. It looked like it was falling to pieces back in the 60's and 70's whenever we went there for a day trip or holiday with my Mum and Dad, but it was in use. Back in the days too when the trains ran through the very central streets of Weymouth en route to the harbour. There was a large metal girder bridge that crossed the lake back then, I can't remember whether this took the railway lines or was a road bridge.
