That wing wave brought a lump to my throat.

Well, it wasn't quite G-VLIP's last flight because it just flew overhead enroute into Heathrow, though it wasn't visible in the low cloud. Does this mean it's maybe found a buyer after being in Ciudad for 6 months or so?

With sisterships VGAL / VROM / VROS / VROY all to serve with Atlas Air, I’m speculating that VLIP (the last remaining of that series -443) may also be earmarked for troop carrying duties. We may well see them back over here when Fairford hosts another Exercise.
Edit : The only other ‘current’ 400 series VXLG (an older model -41R) - departed MAN for Tel Aviv (credit Skyliner and FR24). In the air as VIR849P at 1125Z. Ultimate destination / fate unknown. 😀
Other series -41R VAST has been scrapped at St. Athan.

If they are going to Atlas Air, they may well become (fairly) regular at Mildenhall/Lakenheath plus, of course, Ramstein.

Tie ups to date : actual and (allocated)
VGAL. ( N***MC). at MZJ VROM. N481MC. at MZJ VROS. N***MC) at MZJ VROY. (N482MC). at LHR
Awaiting the fate of VLIP
Blue skies and favourable jetstream could see them over the South for the German route 🤞
