After a long absence had a quick trip to the 'bushe. Picked up a couple of Bizjets (M-CICO, G-LUBB and G-FFFC) and filled a few resident gaps. G-EGLL from Booker was doing a few circuits and G-BROX was a new Phoenix helicopter for me, so all-in-all a quite productive hour in the sun.
One query hopefully someone can help with... There was a single engine high wing (possible a Ikarus ?) parked on the apron in front of the terminal. It had red covers covering almost all the body. The cover had a label with the reg G-UUUU on it. However I was just looking at my photo of it and in a gap in the cover under the wing I can see a partial reg which looks like it might contain a Y and maybe a C (or G or O?). Can anybody confirm either it is UUUU (and I need to go to specsavers) or tell me what the reg actually is ... should know better than to trust a reg on a cover!

Mick, thanks for reply. Not entirely convinced by G-WILT, but willing to be proved wrong. The letter I can see in my photo looks more like a Y than a T or a W.
I'll give the Blackbushe forum you suggest a go and post anything I get back here to "close the loop".

Thanks Kevin. That rego does fit with the partial I could see on my photo. Update: Just been confirmed as G-CDYO on the Blackbushe forum. Another one in the book for my trip

UUUU used to be based at Old Sarum, but looks like she's at Popham now
