All good things come to an end and this day was going home day. We popped into Collingwood airfield on our way back from the town where I added Ce172 CF-TWG & Ce150 CF-XWY. Eventually the time came to make the long drive south to Toronto and, of course the airport. From various places I noted B747s of Singapore 9V-SME (now an A350) KLM PH-BUV, Air India VT-EBE & Lufthansa D-ABZE (now a Eurowings A320) MD11 of Swissair HB-IWC; Air Europe Italy B767 I-AEJB. US stuff noted were
B757s of United N520UA & Northwest N517US; Fokker 100 of US Air N864US; Saab 340 of Comair N158CA; Be1900 of Business Express N3067X & DC9/MD80 of Delta N922DL; US Air N991VJ, 830US; American N429AA & 70529. Of course the place is full of Air Canada and it's partner airlines and Air Transat & Canadian Airlines Intnl. Other's noted were Ontario Express Jetstream 31 C-GQRO, FASJ; EMB120 C-FKOE, FPOE; Air Toronto Jetstream 31 C-GBDR; Worldways Canada B727 C-GWGV; Intair Fokker 100 C-FICP, Canada 3000 B757 C-FXOK. Our flight home was with Nationair and was my second flight on B747 C-FDJC (The first was 10 years earlier when it was with Wardair Canada) Also at Toronto were Nationair B757s C-GNXC & C-GNXI. We eventually lifted off from Toronto and stopped at Montreal's Mirabel airport (then, the main international airport serving Montreal) where I noted another Nationair aircraft, DC8 C-GQBF. Then a flight through the night to the UK. Which I will do tomorrow.
